Tradition since 1990
The International Theatre Festival Without Borders, which has been held since 1990 in Cieszyn and Český Těšín, is an annual presentation
of outstanding theatrical performances (the competition for the Broken Barrier
prize), combined with a number of popularizing and educational activities and attractive concerts and exhibitions.
This year's 33rd edition of the Festival will take place in Cieszyn and Český Těšín from 27 September to 6 October. The programme includes 16 performances from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, accompanied by exhibitions, concerts and meetings. The best performance will be awarded the Broken Barrier Prize by the international jury, while the audience will also vote for their favourite.
